ora va in tutti i gay bar

Note nate andate via
Chissà perché questa fretta
Mettici dentro un po’ di te
Io non so

Gino no longer counts the women
he was in bed with together.
He went at the rhythm of 6-7 a month
then he decided that . . . stop!
“Doing the lover for the days
before the one in which you get it on,
what incredible frustration,” he said,
now he goes in all the gay bars.

Things change, more quickly than the reasons.
Then they get mixed up, they choose for you.

It changes, the color of the snow by the wayside,
piles of pure, new joy and now, ruins of magic.
Yes, shape me like the sand of a barren beach
modeled by the waves of its tides.

Things change, they change for me.
Then they transform themselves, they choose for you.

Who knows what it is?
Notes born, get out of here.
Who knows why this rush?
Put a little tea inside.
I don’t know.

Muscoli e dei (Muscles and Gods) was Marta sui tubi's debut album. The duo Giovanni Gulino (vocals) and Carmelo Pippitone (guitar and vocals) became an underground sensation in the clubs of Bologna in the fall and winter of 2002/2003, performing originals and covers. Their demo was positively received and led to a publishing deal with Eclectic Circus Records. There was nothing else like it on the Italian airwaves when the album was released in late 2003. Subsequently, in 2004, drummer Ivan Paolini was added and the group was voted the Best Italian Independent Group at the annual Meeting of the Independents music event. The Eclectic Circus music videos are especially noteworthy.
